| Extra information | : | 29th of October 2012: The HMS Bounty sunk by Hurricane Sandy, said the Coast Guard. They also reported that "the masts were still visible". The three-masted ship was located off the coast of North Carolina when the ship was troubled by Sandy. The Bounty couldn't progress anymore on its own power. Of the 16 crew members, 14 were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard. The captain and a crew member did not make it. |
